Failure at Bathurst leads to a Beer 🍻

G’day guys,

Bathurst - what a weekend. It’s one of those places that can give you everything or take it all away in an instant, and unfortunately, this year it just didn’t go our way. I’ve been lucky enough to have victories here in the past, but Bathurst didn’t choose me this year, so I thought I’d have a beer with it and hopefully it’s a little nicer to me next year. 

I’m absolutely gutted for the team. We really tuned our cars up from where we rolled out this weekend, and everyone played their part and did an incredible job.

The effort, commitment, and passion from the Mobil 1 Optus Racing crew never wavers, and I’m so disappointed we couldn’t get the result they deserved today. 

That’s racing though, the highs and lows are what make this sport what it is. We’ll regroup, learn what we can, and come back even stronger on the Gold Coast.

I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel and give it another crack. Thanks as always for your incredible support.

You guys are what keep us pushing forward, no matter what.
