Dual Trophy Haul at the Bathurst Opener! 🏆🏆

Hey Everyone,

I’m stoked to say that the 2024 Supercars season is officially underway! It’s always a good time of year to see the cars on track again, and it's especially cool when they hook up on the racetrack and you can walk away with silverware.

Firstly, a huge credit to the guys and girls part of the Walkinshaw Andretti United squad - they really went to work over the off-season to provide me with a rocket ship, and the Mustang was in great form as soon as our wheels hit the track.

To start the season at pretty much everyone's favourite track - Bathurst - was unique and cool. Usually, we don’t see this place in a Supercar until later on in the year, so to begin our season at such an iconic venue and have the pleasure of drifting it across the top of The Mountain is always a special feeling.

As for my racing, we qualified well on both days in P3 on Saturday and P2 on Sunday which was a huge relief to see that one-lap outright pace in the car. Starting up front is always a good thing as you stay out of the carnage in the mid-field and can focus on your own driving.

Being a race car driver, it’s natural that you always want more and are never truly satisfied unless standing on the top step, and getting so close to winning on Sunday made things a little bittersweet, although at the same time, to walk away with P3 and P2 over the two races is a mega start to the season for us, and puts us in a great position moving forward.

Again, I’m stoked that racing is now underway, and can’t wait to let it rip again in a few weeks at the Australian Grand Prix.
