Double Podium at The Bend! 🏆

Hi Guys,  

Glad we were able to give you a big weekend of Supercars from The Bend! 

Managed to snag my 6th podium of the year in our opening Race which was awesome, Adam’s strategy was unreal and we had a late stop,. 

I popped out behind Cam in 4th and was able to get past him for the last spot on the podium but just came up short catching Will Davison for second. 

Was awesome to be on the podium again, it’s a great reward for everyone! 

On Sunday the race start was absolutely insane, the massive accident at the start with Thomas and Andre, was glad to see no one was injured too badly. 

Nick got caught up in it all and the team did an unreal job to get his car out for the final race, there was a lot of damage. 

Once the race restarted I had a pretty close to perfect start going from sixth to first by Turn 1.  

From there, I led until the stop, but unfortunately, got over-cut by SVG who went long into the race and settled for second. 

In our final race the heavens opened up and the wets went on, we started under Safety Car since it was so wet and I was pushing hard around 6th but I made contact with Will Davison and got a 15-second penalty, which I served at the my stop and finished 8th.  

I’m pretty dirty on myself for bumping into Will, sorry to him, because our car was good, I know it damaged his race too. 

Overall though it was a pretty positive weekend, to get two podiums was a great result and one we will continue to build off. 

We will get back and work through everything, and get ready for Sandown in a few weeks.
