Sandown Podium FOR PAUL MULHEARN SNR ๐Ÿ†

Hey Guys,

Stoked to be back on the podium at Sandown!

Friday was pretty quiet, had a quick practice run then I got to watch my car go round without me in it for the Co-Driver session, I gave the keys over to Fabs and let him have a crack.

Saturday was a bit of a tricky day for us, we tried a lot of things but just didnโ€™t have the speed for those front guys, best we could manage was P10.

An hour and 15 minutes before the race on Sunday morning the team was forced to do a complete engine change, it was a mammoth effort and the crew did an amazing job to get it switched over.

In the race, I managed to get a good start from third, and then controlled second for the remainder of the race.

That podium was for one of my favourite people in the world, Paul Mulhearn Snr.

We lost him during the week, he was one of the biggest contributors to the Motorsport world and without him several drivers including myself, would never have reached their dreams.

His belief in drivers and nurturing them to be the best that they can, even picking me up with just a phone call from bad races will always be in my memory.

In our final race I got the #25 away cleanly, but with track temperatures dramatically cooling, we decided to run an aggressive strategy on both cars.

I was battling for a podium late but just missed out and finished P4, we probably went too aggressive but thatโ€™s the risk we take sometimes going for the win.

Speak to you next time from NZ! Will be great to get back over there with our kiwi fans,
